Following recent reports of antisocial behaviour and criminal damage in and around Brookfield Park, Cllr Peter Groves and Cllr Andrew Martin (Nantwich South), joined local Police Officers last night on patrol.
The Police have increased patrols in the area with both uniformed and plain-clothes officers. They have already been able to engage with young people, have seized alcohol, offered advice and support and liaised with parents where appropriate.
Cllr Groves explained “The evening was a valuable insight into this aspect of Police work. Efforts are ongoing to address residents’ concerns and we will keep you updated with progress”.
