Members of the Conservative Team travelled across the Constituency today to pay tribute to those who in military action, paid the ultimate sacrifice.
The Team were represented at Crewe (Dr Kieran Mullan MP & Ryan Moore), at Nantwich (Cllrs Peter Groves and Andrew Martin), at Willaston & Rope (including Wistaston) (Cllrs Allen Gage, Margaret Simon and Peter Groves - as Mayor of Nantwich), at Wybunbury (Cllr Janet Clowes) and in Haslington, Cllr Steve Edgar participated in the procession before laying his wreath at the memorial.
We would like to thank the local branches of the Royal British Legion and other Armed Forces bodies who helped organise these events together with Town and Parish Councils across the Constituency.
Importantly, all these events were very well attended by the public; from the youngest (including our local Cubs, Beavers, Scout, Brownie, Guides and Venture Scouts, army and air cadets), right through the age range including veterans of past conflicts who came to honour their lost comrades.
